Interview on the Jeff Mara Podcast

Picture of paragliders over the beach with quote from Lesley Joan Lupo: "It's so hard to explain how much love you feel from everything you see when you have dropped all that fight-or-flight reflex from you. You're just pure love."

On the Jeff Mara Podcast, I discuss my near-death experience, why going "Upstairs" felt like home, how I got the idea for my book and upcoming audiobook, Remember, Every Breath Is Precious, and my new relationship workshop for empaths.

One thing that seemed to resonate with Jeff was when I described the feeling of "Upstairs," or Heaven, "It's so hard to explain how much love you feel from everything you see when you have dropped all that fight-or-flight reflex from you. You're just pure love."

When Jeff asked me how it felt to be removed from neuro chemical, emotional reactions that cause fear, I said, "I just watched myself die with beautiful equanimity and peaceful acceptance of it in a way that I can't imagine I would if I was still in my human body." People often get comfort when they learn about my near-death experience, or NDE.

Jeff asked about meeting Jesus and Heaven, so I described my experience and it may be different from what people expect--and better.

Toward the end of the interview, Jeff and I discussed my latest workshop, "Peer or Patient? Building Your Own Sanctuary." I said that my relationship workshop teaches about setting gentle boundaries with discernment within unconditional love. A lot of people who are giving to others love themselves least, so my workshop also helps people with developing self-love.
